I caved. Let's see how long this is gonna last...

Okay, so here I am. This is for all of the family and friends who can’t get enough of me on the phone or FB or at family or friend gatherings. I finally did it because all of my sisters started one, so of course I can’t be left out! No the real reason is this, I can’t even count how many people have said,”Oh, how I wish I could be a fly on the wall in your house.” So this is for you. All you sickies who want to see an extra little bit of the Shupes doing our random, silly day to day things. It’s not all that interesting, but many of you like to think it is. So I guess we will find out together if you can really handle what goes on in the minds and doings of the Shupes.
My blogging experience started a few months ago after a phone call with my friend Cathy. We somehow started talking about blogs and I was saying how I just don’t think I have the time and energy to put into one. On top of that, who would really care about what I have to say? I told her how I have random thoughts that I would like to put on a blog, just to see if anyone else has them. For example I said:
The other night I was lying in bed when all of the sudden I noticed I was laying in the dead man’s position. You know what I am talking about. When a guy dies in a movie and the police put a chalk outline around him. And I thought, “Oh gosh, if I die tonight and the police come they will think how bizarre it is that I died in that position.” So I immediately rolled over. Even though I was oh so comfy.
See, those are the thoughts that run through my head. This is why I never officially started my blog. Like when I was showering just now. I wondered how many other people in Washington Terrace were showering at 2:30 in the afternoon. I know you all how those thoughts too. So I am hoping that by me jotting down my daily happenings and thoughts that I can hear back yours too.
Because let me tell ya, this isn’t going to be your typical blog. I won’t be writing about my doting and wonderful husband all the time. Or how cute and funny my kids are. You guys already know that and I don’t need to prove it to you in every posting. Those kinds of blogs are the exact reason why I haven’t started one. Like they all have something to prove about their families. It drives me bananas! Just LIVE people! Don’t get me wrong, there are going to be tons of posts on here about all the amazing things my family members do and how much I completely adore them. I just won’t be doing that every day, over and over and over again.
So this is for you. All of you who want to implant a camera into the record button on my VCR. I love you all very, very much. Now like I said, I won’t be telling you that again for a few days, okay?

I laughed out loud at the "dead man position" part!
And I LOVE the "reactions" boxes you can click at the bottom of each post! I hadn't seen those before, so I went an put them on mine immediately! (Hint: you can change what they say, and add others.)
PS-Apparently comments are working now. :)
