This is everything that has happened in the last week. Needless to say, August can go out as fast as it came in.
- I scraped the drivers side of Chris's truck bed in the drive-through at America First.
- Went camping and found what has come out to be around $400-$500 worth of repairs on the trailer. 90% of that is the labor. Can you read the grimace on my face?
- Millie has been having nightmares the past couple of weeks, as did Jack at this age. Add this to the confines of our trailer for three nights. My eyelids may never recover.
- Spikey came home from camping with a bug. A bug that made my already upset eyelids get into a fighting match with my eyeballs the other night. All I'm gonna say is, both ends. Thankfully outside.
- Jack has had a mystery fever for two days. Nothing but a fever. I am hoping it's a little exhaustion and dehydration. Fluids. Fluids. Fluids.
- Oh, did I mention we are in the middle of remodeling the living room. It currently looks like this, plus lots of toys, and has for the last week. Which by the way it drives me BONKERS that it is unfinished. But it has been super fun for playing in:
- Hhmmm, what else? Oh yes, the washer got a little out of control and shimmied back into the pipe and split it down the center. Chris says that is an easy fix. Thank the Lord above.
We are both taking these money sucking incidents surprisingly well. It puts off the kitchen remodel for a bit, but that may be okay. We could use a little break from chaos.
