A teeny update

Things are finally dying down around here. I can only imagine when I have kids in school. Gah, the thought! We have just been traveling so much and taking on a remodel has really been time consuming. We still aren't completely finished with the living room remodel. Pictures and comments on that project are coming soon. You will get a sneak peek at the room in a picture that is sure to make you smile and giggle.
This super friggin cute kid started preschool last week. He is a stinkin whiz and we knew he would love it. We didn't do mommy preschool this year and decided to have him attend The Little Red School House. Knowing that your child is under the control of another adult you is HARD. Not knowing how he is doing, what he is feeling, is he happy or upset, is HARD. The fact that Jack hops out of the car every morning with excitement let's me know he is okay.

Jack also had his first soccer game. And he was so Jack. A little timid, concerned his coach wasn't there, telling the other players what to do, doing exactly what his coach told him to. When the coach told him to stay by number 4 on the sideline, he did. The coach put him in the game and he stayed glued to the kid! That is how Jack's mind works. By the end of the game he was running for the ball a little more and loosening those straight arms. By week seven he will have it down!

And WHAT! She so rocks. This human brings so much to my life. Mostly laughter, thankfulness, patience, and more smiles. She is so great and you should sooo want one of her.
