We had some vampire teeth and I thought it would be super rad to stick them in some pumpkins. I have seen it done before and thought the kids would get a kick out of it. Plus I have been looking for ways to get the kids more involved in carving the pumpkins. If you actually think, kids ten and under are those who really like Halloween right? And we aren't handing over those carving knives, right? Hope not. So I have been thinking (and stealing ideas from Pinterest of course) on how to get the kids a little more interested. This was super easy because they were small pumpkins, so not a lot of prep work. The kids thought it was kind of cool. Jack lost his patience while I was carving, but he did stick the teeth in. And Millie, well, she RAAARRRS at them every time she sees them and says they are "Cuuuke!" or cute as most other people would pronounce it.
After I did it I checked online to get some inspiration for our other pumpkins. And dang! the internet world has outdone themselves. Always making me think, "Ugh, why didn't I think of that first!"
What do you know, Martha has already gone and done it. Better I may add. And she has tons of other great ideas too.
Love this one from Everythingmom.com
I like this one because it is actually something my kids can do with the pumpkins. We carve and they stick on the spiders. I like it.
