Fallen for Fall

Did ya like that title? I don't even know what it means. It just typed out. But thank goodness for fall. I have never been so excited to see summer go buh-bye. It has been rough people. Between Chris's work, building this house (feels good that there is actual work going on now, post coming soon), and a few other personal hiccups, this summer was the dumps. Bleh. A roller coaster. The crapper. The worst. No fun. Down right narsty. It had a few bright spots. The 4th of July. Camping. Jack starting school.......Ah crap, that is all I can come up with. See? It was not our typical Shupe fashion to say the least. 

But fall has been fabulous! Millie started jazz and tumble. Loves it. Chris has had some sunshine glimmers at work. The house is rising. Everyone is healthy. We headed south for a few days this past weekend. And are heading out somewhere over UEA in October. I have a vacation in my sights guys! This brings up my attitude by at least 80%. Oh and for those unaware of my Facebook post, I GOT A JOB. 

Chris saw this job on ksl.com and said I should apply for fun. Well I did, and now I have a part time job two nights a week. Wha? This is weird. But I am excited to help open a new store. It is at West Elm. A store I adore. If I had lots of dolla dolla bills I would make my house a West Elm store. We will see where it heads. I don't know. We may actually lose money on this gig!

All I know is that about a month ago Chris and I where begging for 2012 to be over. But now our tantrums and boo hoos are over and realize life is what it is. We have today, the cards we have been dealt, and a choice. Make the best or be grumpy. And we have a pretty damn good life, so SNAP OUT OF IT. Grumpy be gone! Here's to 2012's fourth quarter!

This guy makes Chris and me happy lately. Check out his whole show, it is worth the five bucks on his website. It was our in bed iPad date night a couple weeks ago. I don't know if it is as good as King Baby (his last show), but it made us giggle under the covers. Good, pretty clean, hilariousness!
