Boston Bound!

So I will try to make this quick. Chris and I needed this trip to Boston. Six days without the kids was going to be a rough one, but six days in New England would make it all that much easier to leave their smooshy faces.
This trip was great. Everything I imagined Boston to be. We didn't take the best pictures, but I sure did post a lot for you to see! If you haven't been, GO. If you get a chance, rent a car and drive up the 1A. You won't regret it. Do all the cliche things to do in Boston. The Freedom Trail, Fenway, the food, it is all awesome. Cliches are cliches for a reason, right? Can't wait to take my kids in about ten years. Hope I get back sooner than that.

Chris and I try to get in a shot of every state line we cross.

Rhode Island was late at night and in a sketchy part of Providence. Hence the bad, bad photo.

This is what I wish we had here. In Exeter on a random Tuesday. Old men playing in a big band stand in the middle of town. Really? This happens?

Nubble Lighthouse near York Maine.

This is as far north as we made it unfortunately. Luckily our turn around point was this quaint, totally precious catholic church. Wish I could remember the name.

Newburyport, New Hampshire. Remember this picture for a future post.

This will be hanging in Millie's room.

Who's the hottie standing next to Paul Revere's house? I have my eye on you blue shirt.

He is just so darn cute.

Bummer we didn't go to a game because they were in Seattle, but lucky for us we got to sit in the media box on our tour.

The Old North Church. They knew what they were doing in 1723. I would totally go to church more if I could rent out a box like this for the year.

I couldn't get over all the small doors. Not sure how many are used these days, but I'm quite positive this one is.

Starting the Freedom Trail.

I have a thing for graveyards. Chris had to keep me focused on what was ahead to get me out of this one. Paul Revere, Sam Adams, and John Hancock are in this cemetery. They are just tucked in everywhere in the city, some headstones are even in the foundations of buildings. Amazing.
