Millie: One

So our Sweetest turned one recently. I could go on for days on how our lives changed when she arrived. Mostly for the better. Lets be honest, I have to say mostly because I am slightly not so pleased with patch of grays that sprouted up as I walked out of the hospital two days later.

She is so feisty, but totally sweet. Hungry, always hungry, but will angrily huck food off the table when she is finished. Like, HOW DARE YOU STILL BE ON THE TABLE WHEN I AM FULL! She loves me and Jack, but practically does baby gymnastics when Chris gets home from work because she absolutely cannot hold in her excitement, Like, HOW DARE I NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO COMPLETELY CONTROL MY ARMS AND LEGS YET, I NEED TO GET TO HIM! Alright, alright I could go on like this for days, but I am pretty sure if the little squirt could talk she would talk and act like King Henry the VIII because that's how important she thinks she is. Which she totally is. In short here are some random quips about The Millster at one year of age ~

• She only has four teeth. But her gums made of metal.
• She can walk along furniture and will take a few steps here and there.
• She gives lovely kisses, maybe a tad on the intimate side.
• She is a belly laugher.
• At the same time she whines/squawks just as hard and often.
• She is a cuddle baby, like her brother. Woohoo for the parentals!
• She can give Chuck Norris a run for his money because she can and will rip your face off.
• Her first word was uh-oh. But this girl does nothing on accident. She is naughty.
• She is thee most beautiful thing we have ever laid eyes on.

This is a tad blurry, but it was pretty much the only time she smiled.

Yes, I had A LOT of red velvet cake in my teeth.
