Creatures of the Night

I feel so behind the blogging times. And it bugs me bad. Who wants to read about Halloween stuff a week after the trick or treating? Well, I guess you, and I feel the need to let the world know about something that I think was really worth my time.
The week before Halloween my step mom and I headed out to the Ogden Nature Center for their Creatures of the Night. They set up craft stations where we made spiders and funny noses out of pipe cleaners and egg cartons. They have a yurt with strings to resemble a spider web. *Note: Mamas do this in skinny jeans at your own risk. They have their creatures on exhibit, of course, and the bald eagle was a hit for Jack. They also did an owl show and a spider and snake show, where my little unfazed two year old pet the snake. They had pumpkin bowling, a ring toss, throw the bug in the web and other games. We didn't do the silly Halloween stories around the campfire or a few others, but hopefully we will catch those next year. Go early, you could be there for hours on end.
If you are an Ogdenite or live nearby, this is a must on your fall activity list. Plus you can't beat the four bucks for admission, plus a coupon if you have one!
