First snow of the season. My boots are permanently out for the next five to six months. Can you hear my absolute annoyance through the computer screen?
On the other hand, my kids couldn't be more ecstatic. My ragamuffins couldn't get their boots on quick enough this morning, jammies and all.
And don't even get me started on this one. If only you could hear my kids giggling until their bellies hurt watching this damn dog hop like a spry little deer after snowballs, then digging furiously like, "Where'd a ball go? WHERE'D A BALL GO!!!!"

I read this earlier, but the part about Spike just struck me as hilarious tonight.
We just got our first snow on Monday night. It was just a dusting, but it hasn't came above freezing yet for it to melt. I am so totally not ready for cold weather......
