An Unforeseen Opportunity

Okay, so just a few months ago I wrote this post. Let me start over because I think I over use the word "okay" way to often. And probably "so",  as well.
A few months ago a posted this. And honestly, we are still very content with this house. We love it to our core. It is our Ross to our Rachel. Our Cubbies to Chicago. They can frustrated you, ease you, tear you down, and build you up. This house has it's issues, but we just....can't....let it go. But we are. Kinda. Sorta. Half-fast letting it go.
A year ago we offered a man, who was currently not selling a piece of ground he had, an amount to take it off his hands. He refused and we moved on.
Three weeks ago he put it up for sale. Over priced. We have had a few calls back and forth and as of now are waiting to hear back on if he will accept our latest and final offer.
We took it as a sign when he put it up for sale. This random guy somehow had a say in what our future would hold. Even if we don't get this lot, I think we are ready to move on. We don't necessarily want a larger home, but more space as far as property goes. We want to throw wiffle balls to Jack that don't go over fences that are five feet away. More space for more family and more friends.
We will see what comes, we still haven't had the courage to put a sign in the yard. And we may take it off the market at the end of summer if it hasn't sold. The last thing I want is to rip Jack out of school midway through the year. So if you know anyone looking for a place, it is currently listed here.
