Our house is a wreck right now. And it is driving us bonkers. Our roof leaked a couple of months ago down into our bedroom and as of today (yay!) it is back in order. Our builder came and finished painting and re-pulling the carpet. But we still have no nightstands. We sold our bedroom furniture well over a month ago and haven't found "the ones" yet. So a laundry hamper has been a great fill in. NOT! We also installed built-ins in our office a good two months ago and there is a bit more painting to do. And shelving to be hung. And maybe wall…pay…per? I posted awhile ago that Millie's room is painted and totally fabulous, minus her bed. Someday she will make it back to her room. Did I also mention that we sold our dining room furniture BU-FORE we sold our last house (almost two years ago) and are yet to find one for our new space? It's actually great for the kids, but I dream of family dinners that aren't around our kitchen island. And we need to install cabinets in the laundry room. Sooo yeah, but here is Miss Laney May's bedroom all fixed up with a few final touches. I'm sure it will get tweaked here and there. I mean, you are talking to the girl who can't leave furniture in the same place for more than a month.

So..... This fall, when you're "in the area" (closer than ever before, anyways), you should come decorate my house. We're getting ready to start a major, MAJOR project (will blog about it soon, or try to....). And I am totally over my head in trying to figure out even the floors and walls!
