So I am back and ready to blog. As I have previously written, I have had computer issues. It never fully recovered from a crash it had about two months ago and surprisingly I have been okay with it. Now we have a new computer that is definitely going to take some getting used to, but so far it is really, shall I say, AWESOME.
Not like I am obsessed with the computer, but as I look back on our year Chris and I may be the love children of Steve Jobs. We are electronically tapped out. Which really we anticipated this year to be our fun-travel-toy-o-rama year because as my girlfriends Destiny Child would say, last year was all about the bills, bills, bills.
Back to not being obsessed with everything futuristic. (I still can't get over the iPad) We really try to run a fairly non-tech house. Probably like every other set of parents we limit television and computer time, but I can't help but the think this really is the future. Jack and Millie may not be writing on paper in school. They will have something similar to the iPad or by then they can just think answers and it will zap into the mind of their teacher. Makes me sad, but at the same time it is very cool. They will have classes on Classic Writing Techniques. Paper? Pencil? What is that? Got me thinking. I rarely us a paper and pencil now. Just to jot down ideas, grocery items, or when I am teaching Jack. Maybe I should work on that. For now, here I am people, typing away.
